From July 3 to 6, 2008, the AT&T National Tournament will return to the Congressional Country Club in Bethesda (Montgomery County). The Tournament's inaugural event was held there as well in 2007. Hosted by the world's top-ranked player, Tiger Woods, the Tournament will be a regular stop on the PGA Tour. Future tournaments at Congressional Country Club include the 2009 U.S. Amateur Championship and the 2011 men's U.S. Open.
For the fourth year in a row, the McDonald's Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Championship will be held in Havre de Grace (Harford County) at the Bulle Rock Golf Club, June 5-8, 2008.
Baltimore Country Club in Timonium (Baltimore County) hosted the 2007 Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship, and again will host the Championship from October 9 to 12, 2008. This tournament is one of five major championships on the PGA Champions Tour.
